Our mission

We are on a mission to make learning about money easy and fun for kids.

About us

We are an EdTech company committed to making financial literacy a mandatory subject at the GCSE level (Years 9-11) in schools nationwide. We believe that equipping young people with essential financial skills is crucial for both individual and societal progress.

Financial literacy drives economic growth and fosters equal opportunities for all, helping to close the inequalities that arise from economic circumstances. Our goal is to ensure that every young person, regardless of background, has the knowledge to navigate financial systems and contribute to a more equitable economy.

We will be creating examination material and hope to work with the Department for Education to introduce ‘Financial Literacy’ as a real GCSE subject.

The problem

Too many students come out of school not even knowing how to pay tax, or how to grow their money over time to purchase an asset. They have no clue how loans work, and that debt isn’t always a bad thing. They are not ready to be adults, even though they are classed as such at 18.

The current curriculum is missing a subject to guide students with essential concepts in finance. While there are online resources that exist, they are complex and too tedious to navigate. You cannot assume a teenager will go out of their way to understand such intricate information. Guidance is needed.

Our solution

CyboLearn is here to support students with learning, in a fun and engaging way, with content broken down as simply as possible, so students don’t have to fiddle with any unnecessary jargon.

Message from the CEO

There was something missing from the secondary school system. It felt empty to me. I was going into school, but honestly, I didn’t want to be there.

I never understood the purpose of being forced to learn things I didn’t even know how to apply in the real world. I was always looking at the clock, ready to be the first one out of the school gates at 15:20.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one, and I’m sure many young students around the UK can relate. Purpose to learn and study is what I needed. So, I started to interest myself in personal finance and money. I sat behind my laptop, trying to understand the concepts of finance.

This stuff… it sparked something within me. I was finally interested in learning. I could instantly see the real-world applications of what I was learning. However, it wasn’t easy. I was a teenager. There were many distractions around me, and learning such difficult content acted as barriers to my progress.

I did well to jump over those barriers. I ended up finding purpose to stay in school, go to 6th Form and attend University. The fact that I wanted to learn something acted as a catalyst to learn many more things, such as mathematics, coding and different languages.

It takes one exciting thing to accelerate that potential. I want all students to discover this.

Learning doesn’t have to be a drag. It can turn into something special, as it did for me.

I can’t wait for everyone to see what I’ve been working on.
